Tuesday, January 31st

We finished up the water damage repair in Norton Shores today. Since we had to replace some drywall the homeowners had us open up a wall between the their dining room and great room. It really opened it up! After that we tied up some lose ends at another project. Tomorrow we are heading back to a house in N. Muskegon to install three new garage doors. We installed new siding and roofing on this house about 1 1/2 years ago. That should buy us enough time to obtain the permit for a garage at Maranatha.

We finished up the trim work for the kitchen remodel in Norton Shores today! Turned out real sharp. Tomorrow we are staying in Norton Shores to take care of some water damage from ice build up. We will be redoing a section of roofing and siding as well as tearing out a wall and repairing some drywall. I'll have some new photos up soon of the kitchen and the new roof system that we did on Duck Lake Rd.

It was a cold and wet one out there today. Despite getting soaked, we managed to get the majority of the eaves done. We will have those finished up tomorrow. We should also be able to get some of the new siding installed. Hopefully its not so wet tomorrow.

By this weeks end this one be just about there.

Monday January, 9th

How about this weather for January? We have been very fortunate considering the type of project we are working on. Things have been going great at the Duck Lake Rd. job. We worked all weekend due to the favorable weather and have all of the new trusses framed up and just finished all of the new roof sheeting today. The shingles were delivered this afternoon and we will start installing those tomorrow. Hopefully we can beat the snow that supposed to be here Thursday!

Tuesday, January 3rd

Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a great holiday season! We had a change in plans from what was originally expected for the start of 2012. We were supposed to begin a 32'x40' pole barn in Fennville, but that will be delayed for about two weeks. Instead we are starting a project on Duck Lake Rd. in North Muskegon. We will be removing the entire rafter roof system and replacing them with new energy heel trusses. We will be adding a significant amount of insulation and proper ventilation. Once all that is done, new shingles and installing new aluminum eaves. Hopefully the weather cooperates!
