Tuesday, Dec. 27th

We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! A little break sure was nice but we got back into the swing of things today. We finished up the kitchen remodel in Norton Shores today. The granite countertops were installed last friday and we went in and installed the sinks and faucets as well as the dishwasher today. From here we are off to build a 32'x40' pole barn in Fennville.

Wednesday, Dec. 21st

We finished installing the cabinets today for the kitchen remodel in Norton Shores. The counter tops were templated today and should be installed by the end of the week. From there we just have to put everything back together and this one should be done! the one is coming together real nice. Great open floor plan now. Tomorrow we will be pouring a new concrete patio in Roosevelt Park.

Monday Dec. 19th

We finished up the roof in Spring Lake today. Tomorrow we will be back at the Norton Shores kitchen remodel to re install the cabinets. From there, the templates for the new countertops will be done.

Wednesday, Dec.14th

It was a wet one out there today! We'll try again tomorrow for more progress on the Spring Lake roof.

Tuesday, Dec. 13th

We finished up the kitchen remodel in North Muskegon today. The new floor and cabinets turned out real sharp! We also made some more progress of the roof in Spring Lake. The drywall is just about done in the kitchen remodel in Norton Shores as well. We will be setting cabinets within the next couple days.

Monday, Dec. 12th

At the end of last week we started another kitchen remodel in North Muskegon. We installed 600 sq. ft. of hickory hardwood flooring and all new cabinets. We will wrap that one up tomorrow after installing the crown moulding. We also started a roof today in Spring Lake. This one is a bit tricky because half of it is a flat roof and the rest is sloped. The flat roof will get modified butimen and regular shingles on the rest.

Wednesday, Dec. 7th

We finished up the 24'x24' garage in Grandville today! The drywall was also hung today for the kitchen remodel in Norton Shores. We will be installing some prefinished hickory hardwood flooring and kitchen cabinets in North Muskegon while the drywall is being finished. We also have a roof replacement in Spring Lake coming up.

Tuesday, Dec. 6th

We installed the roof on the 24'x24' garage in Grandville today and also got about half of the siding installed. We also got the service door and the window put in. The aluminum is on the eaves. Tomorrow we should wrap this one up. We just need to finish the siding and install the garage door and its done. The drywall is also being hung tomorrow at the kitchen in Norton Shores.

Monday, Dec. 5th

The 24'x24' garage we've been working on in Grandville is all framed up. The roofing and siding were delivered this afternoon and we will be installing them tomorrow. The kitchen remodel in Norton Shores is coming along as well. The new plumbing, electrical, and HVAC were all finished up today. The new drywall will be getting hung on Wednesday.

Wednesday, Nov. 30th

We poured the concrete today for the floor and the approach/driveway for the 24'x24' garage in Grandville. Heading back tomorrow morning to lay the foundation block and anchor bolts. We also made some progress on the kitchen remodel in Norton Shores. The new plumbing and electrical should be done by the end of the day tomorrow.

Tuesday, Nov. 29th

Getting back into the swing of things after a long holiday weekend. We started another 24'x24' garage in Grandville. We got the grade all prepared for concrete yesterday and today. We will be pouring the floor and approach tomorrow morning. We also started a kitchen remodel in Norton Shores which is all gutted out at the moment. We are re routing the plumbing and a lot of electrical. We are hoping to have that portion completed by the end of the week ready for new drywall.

Monday, Nov. 21st

The 18'x22' garage in North Muskegon is coming along well. Its all framed up and ready for siding and roofing. Those materials were delivered late today and we will be installing them over the next two days to finish this one up.

Wednesday, Nov.16th

We installed the foundation block today for the 18'x22' garage in North Muskegon. Tomorrow the lumber is getting delivered in the morning and we will start the build.

Tuesday, Nov. 15th

We finished up the 24'x40' pole barn in North Muskegon today. We moved all of our stuff about a mile away where we will be building a 18'x22' garage. Today we poured the footings and the floor. Tomorrow we will be installing the foundation block and anchor bolts. From there we can start the build.

Monday, Nov. 14th

We just about finished up the 24'x40' pole barn in North Muskegon today. We'll be back tomorrow to put the finishing touches on. From there we are starting another 18'x22' garage off of Becker Rd. also on the North side of town.

Tuesday, Nov. 8th

The weather was not very cooperative at all today. We did however manage to get another section of fencing torn down and the new fencing put up. After that everyone was soaked and went home. The steel siding and roofing came today for the 24'x40' pole barn in North Muskegon. We'll see what tomorrows weather brings.

Monday

We finished up the 24'x24' garage on Scenic Dr. last Friday. Turned out real nice! We got the poles set last week for a 24'x40' pole barn right near the North Muskegon Meijers. Now it is all framed up and we are waiting to install the steel siding and roofing which is supposed to arrive tomorrow. We also had to tear down and install some new fencing as well at this same job.

Wednesday, Nov. 2nd 2011

Its been a busy last couple of weeks. After being without a computer for a week there has been a lot of catch up work to do. We have been working on a 24'x24' garage on Senic Dr. in North Muskegon which is just about done. The siding came in today for it and we will be heading there tomorrow morning to install the siding and wrap up that project. We also started a 24'x40' pole barn today, also in North Muskegon. We got all of the posts set today. As soon as the other garage is finished we'll head back to work on this one.

Friday

Wow! haven't had any new posts up lately but we've been busy. My computer has been in the shop due to a virus. In my last post I talked about the 24'x24' garage that we started in North Muskegon. We now have that one almost completed. We just have to finish up the siding and the garage door. We also just about finished the Norton Shores breezeway rebuild almost done too. The drywall was finished this morning and was primed and painted today. We'll install the new trim and that one will be wrapped up. After these two projects are complete, we will be starting a 24'x40' pole barn also in North Muskegon.

Wednesday

We formed up the foundation and concrete pour for the 24'x24' garage in North Muskegon today, in the rain! We did have to get some fill sand delivered, so tomorrow we will spread it out and compact it. Then we will need to get it inspected. From there we can pour once the weather cooperates.

Monday

We finished the shed addition in North Muskegon toaday. It turn out real nice and blended in with the existing shed perfectly! The Norton Shores remodel is going good too. The drywall is all hung now and the finishers will be in tomorrow to start finishing. From there it will need to be painted and trimmed out and that one will be done too. Tomorrow will be starting a 24'x24' garage in North Muskegon.

Thursday

Its been a busy week! The shed addition in North Muskegon is just about finished. Its built and the siding is up. We just have to install the door and some trim and it will be wrapped up. The remodel in Norton shores is also coming along real well. All of the new framing is done, electrical is installed and drywall will be going up tomorrow.

Wednesday

Things are still going good on our Norton Shore Remodel project. We re framed a breezeway between the house and the garage and install 6 new windows. We also got some of the roof replacement done and that should be finished up tomorrow. From there we will install new electrical and drywall in the remodeled breezeway and that should do it for that one. The Shed in North Muskegon is just about all framed up as well. The roof shingles are going on tomorrow and from there its installing the new cedar siding, doors, and windows.

Tuesday

We made some good progress on both of our projects today. At the Norton Shores remodel we got a damaged section of roofing tore off and about halfway put back together. we also removed two walls and reframed them for some new windows. The windows will be installed tomorrow. In North Muskegon the 10'x14' shed concrete floor is poured and the shed is almost framed up. The cedar siding is being delivered tomorrow.

We started a new remodel/repair job in Norton Shores today as well as a 10'x14' shed addition in North Muskegon.

Wednesday

We finished up the remodel project in Norton Shores today! The new garage door was installed and the last of the finishing details were also completed. Photos of this one and the Steel roof in North Muskegon will be posted on the website real soon.

Monday

We finished up the steel roof install in North Muskegon today! The rain held off long enough for us to get the rest of the siding installed on the new upper addition. Turn out real nice. We will also finish up the Norton Shores remodel tomorrow. All thats left is installing the new garage door.

Tuesday

The North Muskegon steel rood install is so close now. We will finish up the framing for the addition section tomorrow. The last of the steel trim should be wrapped up by Thursday.
We also got the new tile floor installed in the master bathroom remodel in Norton Shores. The grout will be going in tomorrow. Form there its install the new vanity, sink, toilet, and light fixtures.

Monday

We had intentions of finishing up the steel roof in North Muskegon today but were rained out. Instead we installed the tile shower enclosure at the Norton Shores remodel. We will have a crew back there tomorrow to install the new tile floor. WE should have that finished up by the end of the week as well.

Thursday

One more step closer to completion on the steel roof install in North Muskegon. We should have it pretty well wrapped up tomorrow with the exception of the new siding on the addition on the back.
The drywall got its second coat of mud over at the Norton Shores master bath remodel.

Wednesday

Our steel roof install in North Muskegon is getting real close to being finished. All of the steel is finished except for one custom piece which will be in tomorrow. We also had to custom bend most of the fascia because it is a stepped look which gives it some added dimension. The customer also chose to have us install a 5" dental molding for another architectural feature. Its coming together real nice!
The interior master bath remodel in Norton Shores is going well too. The dry wall was hung and first coated today and should be finished by Friday. As soon as that is done we can install the tile shower enclosure around the new whirlpool tub and the floor.

Monday

The steel roof in North Muskegon is just about finished. All of the steel is on the roof and we started installing the new aluminum eaves today. We also had to demo an old bathroom to open up an area that we added on the upper level.
Our remodel in Norton Shores is getting there too. The new master bathroom is ready for drywall. The plumbing and electrical was finished up today. Once the drywall is up we can install the new tile floor and tile shower enclosure.

Thursday

The steel roof install is getting closer to the final stages. We will have the rest of the metal installed tomorrow as well as the trim. Then, we just have to install the new eaves and some decorative trim to give it some architectural appeal. We put some new walls up to expand an upper bathroom as well.
We've also been plugging away on the interior of the Norton Shores remodel.

Tuesday

Hope everyone had a good holiday weekend! After the small break, we were back in North Muskegon still going on the Steel roof install. We built all of the new rafters to pitch some flat roof sections last week. Today we got all of the steel installed. Now we just need to get the trim and the new eaves installed.
Also installing the new plumbing for the Norton Shores remodel tomorrow.

Tuesday

Still plugging away at the steel roof install in North Muskegon. Its been a slow process due to the age of the house. We are also installing new aluminum eaves so there had been a lot of prep work that has been needed. We are going to do our best to maintain the architectural features of the house. We are also going to be installing a pitched roof over a flat roof portion on the back of the house. There is another section where we are building some new walls for a future addition. Lots of work to be done yet!

Monday

We started a steel roof install in North Muskegon today. We're putting a standing seam, hidden fastener roof system on. The back of the house has a flat roof across the entire back. We will be constructing new rafters for a pitched roof. To this point we have most of the shingles torn off and dryed in. We installed the new steel on the front side of the main house portion.

Thursday

The exterior of the Norton Shores remodel was completed today, with the exception of the stone on the garage and the new garage door. Those two items should arrive in about two weeks. We also gutted the new master bathroom area down to the studs today.
Tomorrow we will have one crew back at the Norton Shores remodel to install some new tile. Another crew will be starting a steel roof install in North Muskegon.

Wednesday

The Addition that we've been working on Norton Shores was finally completed today! The final inspections are being done tomorrow. The other remodel that we started in Norton Shores is coming right along as well. The new siding on the front of the house will be done tomorrow with the exception of some stone. We will be starting to demo the master bathroom for a complete remodel tomorrow too!

Tuesday

We kept plugging away at the remodel in Norton Shores today and it is coming along good so far. We put a new roof on this past weekend. We are also giving the front side of the house a face lift by installing new siding and some stone. We are trimming out all of the front windows in composite trim as well as install new aluminum eaves on the entire house. The interior will be getting some new ceramic tile and the master bathroom will be gutted, enlarged, and completely redone.
The other addition in Norton Shores will be finaled out the week too!

Monday

We started another major remodel project in Norton Shores. We finished up the pole barn on Walker Rd. last Friday and it was inspected and approved today. We also have a steel roof that we will be starting in North Muskegon real soon.

Thursday...Already?

Boy it's been a busy week! We will be finishing up the 28' x 40' pole barn on Walker Rd. tomorrow. Once we got started on this one things went very smooth. We started last Wednesday and will have it completed this Friday. Not too bad considering we waited two months to build it! The customer couldn't be happier with the quick turn around, so thats a good thing.
We will be in North Muskegon rebuilding part of a roof and installing new standing seam steel roofing on the entire roof. We will also be starting a extensive remodel in Norton Shores.

Monday

We are making excellent progress on the 28' x 40' pole barn on Walker Rd. It is all framed up and the roof is almost done. We preped for concrete today and will be pouring the floor first thing in the morning.
We also had a crew putting a new roof on a house in Blufton this past weekend.

Wednesday

We started a 28' x 40' pole barn on Walker Rd. in Muskegon Township today. We've been waiting over two months to to obtain the permit for this one so it feels good to get started. The customer thinks so too! We got a good start today, all of the holes were drilled, inspected, and the poles were set. Tomorrow the walls go up.
The plumbing was also wrapped up today at the Norton Shores remodel with the exception up the vanity which came in damaged. The new one should be here any day now to completely finalize the project.

Monday

We finished the porch remodel in North Muskegon today. We also got approved to build a 28' x 40' pole barn on Walker Rd. today. We will begin the build for that on Wednesday. We also have a standing seam steel roof coming up real soon in North Muskegon.

Tuesday

The Norton Shores addition is just about wrapped up! We installed the last few pieces of trim today and we also installed the glass shower door for the custom tile shower. The new fixtures are all in place. The electrical was all finalized today as well with the plumbing soon to follow.
The drywall is very close to being finished at the North Muskegon porch remodel, its taking forever for it to dry with all of this humidity. It should be ready for paint tomorrow.

Monday

We installed the rest of the trim at the Norton Shores addition today! Tomorrow the eletrical will be getting finished up with the plumbing soon to follow. This one is so close to being complete, the only thing that will hold us up is the custom vanity top for the new bathroom came in damaged. It will be about five days before the new one arrives.
The drywall is almost finished and ready for paint at the North Muskegon porch remodel. We should be painting and finishing that one up too by weeks end.

Thursday

The drywall was installed today at the porch remodel in North Muskegon. The first finish coat will be going on tomorrow. We also installed the doors and most of the trim at the Norton Shores addition. This one is real close to being complete!

Wednesday

Installed all of the insulation today in for the porch remodel in North Muskegon today. We also relocated a heat run to heat the new room. Tomorrow we be hanging the drywall and getting ready for the finishing stages. We still have a few more things to wrap up on the exterior but the weather didn't cooperate. We also had the new doors and trim delivered to the Norton Shores addition. We will have a crew installing that as well tomorrow.

Tuesday

We just about finished up the framing and the exterior for the proch remodel in North Muskegon today. Tommorrow we will be insulating the interior and getting ready to hang the drywall. We will also be heading back to Norton Shores to do the rest of the finish work for the addition. We will be installing the doors, trim and vanity.

Monday

We started a small remodel in North Muskegon today. We are converting a porch/three seasons room into a bedroom. Its already a little more involved than originally thought due to some rot. Thats all part of remodeling thought, we'll fix it up and put it back together. We will also be wrapping things up at the Norton Shores addition this week as well.

Thursday

We finished up the retaining wall in Holton today!

Wednesday

We were back out in Stoney lake today and just about finished up the 10'x10' shed we are building. It will be all wrapped up tomorrow morning. We will also be in Holton finishing up a retaining wall along side of a garage we built last winter.

Tuesday

The tile is almost complete at the Norton Shores addition. The shower walls are looking great and with just a few more square feet to install the grout will be going in next and the homeowners are going to begin painting tomorrow. Once the paint is on we just have to install the new fixtures and trim and it will be complete. Meanwhile we were up in Stoney Lake building a 10' x 10' shed with a roll up door.

Thursday

We finished up the siding roofing on the shed today. The drywall is also finally dry and finished up at the Norton Shores addition. We also were there today and poured the floor pan for the custom tile shower and installed in floor heat for the new ceramic tile floor. The tile is ready to go in after the paint is on the walls this weekend. We're at the home stretch on this now!

Wednesday

The drywall was not quite ready at the Norton Shores addition. With all of this humidity lately, the final coat of mud didn't quite dry enough today to do a final sanding. It should be good to go tomorrow morning. We will also be finishing up the prep work for the new ceramic tile. The new bathroom floor will have in floor heat! Meanwhile we put a new roof and siding on a shed at a house that we sided last fall and roofed this past spring.

Tuesday

The drywall is finished at the Norton Shores addition. The homeowners will be painting tomorrow. From there we can come in and install the tile floor and shower. Meanwhile, we've been at the North Peir Condominiums in North Muskegon making some repairs. Tomorrow we will be siding a shed at a house the we installed new siding on last fall.

Monday

The drywall at the Norton Shores addition is almost complete! It should be done tomorrow and the homeowners will be painting on Wednesday. From there we have to install the tile and the new fixtures and this one will be complete. While the drywall has been going on, we've been taking care of some door installs and some smaller projects.

Wednesday

The exterior of the Norton Shores addition is 100% now. Looks like a totally differenr house! The drywall started going up yesterday and was about 90% hung at the end of today. Tomorrow we will be installing the subfloor for the tile floor and the backer board and shower pan for the custom tile shower.
The interior should be about wrapped up by the end of next week.

Thursday

We just have a little more siding to get installed tomorrow to completer that portion of the addition project in Norton Shores. We also installed the insulation today which will be inspected in the morning. The drywallers from All-R-Jobs subcontracting will be there in the morning to start hanging the drywall. Time to complete the interior!

Wednesday

We're still plugging away on the new siding at the Norton shores addition. We have about two thirds of it complete. We will be replacing two exterior doors tomorrow and by the end of the day we should be almost done with the siding. The electrical and building rough in inspections were done and approved today as well. We have the clear to insulat and drywall!

Tuesday

We had a good day on the siding at the Norton Shores house. The front and one side is done and it looks like the weather will stay cooperative to get the rest finished up by the end of the week. We installed the aluminum wrap on all of the exterior window trim. Between the new siding and the roof, its starting to look like a new house.

Monday

We were rained out today. Tomorrow should be better and we can keep moving on the siding at the Norton Shores house. The electrical rough in was completed today and we should have the building rough in inspection done in the next couple days. Once that gets approved we are clear to insulate and drywall the interior.

Thursday

Well, all of this rain has made it quite difficult to any of the siding going at the Norton Shores house. WE did however, manage to get some of the new fascia installed on the eaves. We also removed the old exterior wall between the old bedroom and the new addition. We also frame and installed the new egress window in the bedroom portion. Hopefully we'll get dry weather tomorrow.

Wednesday

We found out that there was no insulation in the walls of the house we are adding onto in Norton shores so today we blew in insulation in the existing walls. We also just about finished the soffit and fascia on the eaves. The electrical rough in is done as well as the plumbing so we should be able to insulate and drywall the first of next week. Tomorrow we will start on the new siding.

Tuesday

We finished up the roof just in time for the heavy rains at the Norton Shore addition! The plumbing rough in was completed today and the electrical rough in is about 80 percent. We should have all of the inspections for the rough ins completed by the end of the week and then its on to the interior. In the meantime we will get the siding installed on the outside.

Monday

We got about 90 percent of the roof installed on the Norton Shores house we put the addition on. We will finish that portion up tomorrow and start on the siding. We also got the new windows installed last friday. The exterior is almost there and then its on to the inside. E. W. Anderson Plumbing started the plumbing rough in today and the electrical rough in will start tomorrow by K&L Electric.

Thursday

With the dry weather, today was much more productive! We got the rest of the roof trusses up and the new roof system framed back into the old part of the house. The shingles are being delivered tomorrow morning so we will get going on replacing the roof. We also got a few of the new windows installed today and some more of the soffit up. We put a new storm door on the front door as well.

Wednesday

We got started installing the new aluminum soffit and fascia on the house we're putting the addition on in Norton Shores. We also got a start on installing the roof trusses for the addition portion. The rain put a little damper on the afternoon. Hopefully it clears up tomorrow and can can keep progressing.

Tuesday

The addition project in Norton Shores is progressing well! Today we installed all of the substrate for the new vinyl siding and prepped the eaves for the new soffit and facsia. We also finished up framing the last of the new walls. Tomorrow morning the trusses will be delivered and we will get going on installing them right away.

Monday

We finished up the foundation for the addtion in Norton Shores last week. Today we installed the new floor section and got about 90% of the new walls framed up. Tomorrow we will finish up the walls and sheeting. We will also start installing the new soffit while we are waiting for the roof trusses to get deleivered on Wednesday.

Thursday

The foundation block was installed today for the Norton Shores addition. It was also inspected and approved this afternoon. The materials for the build are being delivered tomorrow. We will start the floor system after some excavating.

Wednesday

We got started on laying the block foundation for the addition in Norton Shores today. If we get dry weather tomorrow we should be able to wrap that part up. Once that is inspected and approved it will be time to start the build!

Tuesday

The footings were inspected, approved, and the concrete was poured today for the addition in Norton Shores. Tomorrow we will begin laying the block for the foudation. We also put what should be the final finishing touches on the Spring Lake remodel project today! That one took a while but it sure turned out nice.

Monday

We started a new project in Norton Shores today. We are building a 16' x 16' addition off the master bedroom to make a master suite with a custom bathroom and wall in closet. We will also be putting a new roof and new siding on the whole house. All of the windows are also getting replaced. Today we dug and formed the footings. They are getting inspected and poured tomorrow.

Thursday

We were back in Blue Lake today putting the finishing touches on the big remodel again today. We'll have a couple guys there tomorrow while the rest of the crew start on a roof in Laketon township!

Wednesday

We were back out in Blue Lake today working on the finishing details to complete the remodel. We should be there for a couple more days and it will be wrapped up! Then we'll be knocking out a roof over the weekend and then to the Norton Shores addition.

Tuesday

Well, we had a nice Holiday weekend! A much needed little break. Back at it today out in Hudsonville finishing up the 14'x14' shed project. Now that the garage and the shed are done in Hudsonville we'll be back in town to wrap up a few loose ends on the Blue Lake remodel project and hopefully put the finishing touches on the Spring Lake job as well. We are also starting an addition project in Norton Shores this week. It will be a 16' x 16' master suite project, all new siding, roofing, and windows on the house as well!

Thursday

Despite the nasty weather, We finished up the 20' x 24' garage in Hudsonville today. We finished up the siding, installed the garage door, and finished up all of the finishing details. We will still be back there tomorrow to build a 14'x14' shed a few blocks away.

Wednesday

We were in Hudsonville yet again today. We were'nt able to get the siding finished up on the new garage due to the rain, but we did get the garage door installed. We will get it finished up and inspected tomorrow. We also put up a new garage door on the attached garage while we were there because the old one was starting to bend.

Tuesday

The garage is Hudsonville should be wrapped up tomorrow! We just have to finish up the siding on the front and install the overhead door. We will also be installing a new garage door on the same customers attached garage. From there we will be moving over a few blocks to build their in-laws and 14'x14' shed.

Monday

We were back out in Hudsonville today. The garage is coming right along! We got all of the framing finished upo last week. Today we installed the roof, eaves, and windows. We should be able to get the siding up tomorrow. From there it will just leave installing the overhead door and that will be a wrap. We do have a 14'x14' shed to build there as well.

Thursday

We got the walls framed up and sheeted today for the garage in Hudsonville. We also got the house wrap installed and the roof trusses layed out and ready to be installed which we will do tomorrow. The siding and roofing was also delivered today so things have been stying right on schedule. Hopefully it stays that way.

Wednesday

We got the foundation block and anchor bolts installed for the Hudsonville garage today. Tomorrow we will be starting the build. We should be able to to frame all of the walls and prepare to set the trusses. We are also building a 14'x14' shed for the garage cutomer's inlaws while we are in town.

Tuesday

We got the concrete poured today for the footings, garage floor, and approach, for the 20'x24' garage we're building in Hudsonville. Tomorrow we will be laying the foundation block and installing the anchor bolts. After thats done we can start the build!

Monday

We started a 20'x24' garage project in Hudsonville today. We're taking a short break from the Blue Lake job to do this garage while the granite coutertops are being made to finish up there. We got the footings dug today and will be pouring the floor and approach for the garage tomorrow morning.

Tuesday

We were in North Muskegon today doing an insurance roofing job today while the painters finished up painting the new drywall out in Blue Lake. All of the areas that we installed new tile in got a frash caot of paint. We'll be back in Blue Lake tomorrow installing the new trim! Almost there on that one.

Monday

We had a crew back out in Blue Lake today putting the exterior siding back on the house now that the roof is done and the insurance claim is all sorted out. We got about half of it back on the house and should have the rest done tomorrow. I spent the day running around town tying up some loose ends before we begin aour garage project in Hudsonville. We are just waiting on the permit to get finalized to start that one.

Thursday

The guys were all out in Blue Lake again today. The last of the tile add ons we think are complete. Tomorrow we will be finishing up the grout and also put the exterior siding back together. We've been waiting for authorization from the insurance company to finish the repairs due to water damage that we found while installing the new roof. I was in Spring Lake today to just about finish up the small details of the big remodel thats been going on there. One last trip should do it for that one, after the plumber and electrician put there finishing touches on. Its a totally different house now!

Tuesday

We had a couple guys back out ib Blue Lake today plugging away at more tile! I think we've finally got it all installed now barring any further add on by the customer. It started out being about 600 square feet and has turned in to about 900 that we've actually installed. They also got some of it grouted today. Myself and another guy ran all over town finishing up various little projects. We're tring to get some loose ends tied up before we start a garage in Hudsonville. We will all be back in Blue Lake tomorrow to make some more headway there.

Monday

We started the day today back out in Blue Lake. We got the rest of the decorative trim installed in the new kitchen and also installed yet some more tile. The second half of the day we went over to the house on Riverwood Dr. to finish up some custom fascia that had to be installed after the roof and also to do a final cleaning. This house now has a new roof and siding. We'll be back in Blue Lake tomorrow.

Thursday

We were back out in Blue Lake today. We got a start on the decorative moulding for the kitchen and got the electrical wrapped up. This new kitchen has six can lights, a ceiling fan, lighting below and above the cabinets, a small chandelier above the sink, three pendant lights above the snack bar, and puck lights in two cabinets. Needless to say, its pretty well lit! We also installed more tile and grouted more of what we put in last week. Tomorrow we will have a crew back on the Riverwood Dr. roof to try and finish up that one now that we should finally have a dry day. I will be in Blue Lake solo installing the rest of the decorative trim in the kitchen.

Wednesday

We were back in Blue Lake today working on the new kitchen again. We got about 90 % of the new lighting up and running today. We also got the new over the range microwave and refidgerator installed. This kitchen has anti slam hardware on all of the cabinet doors, so we installed all of those as well as the handles. Tomorrow its on to the decorative crown moulding and more tile.

Tuesday

We were in Spring Lake today. We  got the custom tile shower grouted and the rest of trim installed. Now that the coutertops are installed we were able to get the last two cabinets installed and the rest of the crown moulding up. We also installed a custom valance and soffit with lights in it. We will need one more trip to put the new doors and hardware back in the frames. we've been waiting for them to get painted.
What a difference from the old kitchen!

Monday

We were out in Blue Lake Today installing the rest of the kitchen cabinets. All of the new cabinets are in but there is a ton of bells and whistles yet to be installed. The doors and draweres all have anti-slam devices that we had to put on. The top of them have a three tiered crown moulding that we have yet to put up, but it is starting to come together. Tomorrow we're back in Spring Lake to try and wrap that one up. We have to grout the tile shower, install two more cabinets now that the coutertops are in, and finish up a few peices of trim.

Thursday

We had a good day today with our spilt crews. The roofing crew put in a  long day at the Riverwood Rd. house. They got about a third of the roof tore off and shingled back up. The rest of us were out in Blue Lake again grouting the new tile in the kitchen. The painters were right on schedule and got the new drywall in the kitchen and dining room all painted today. Tomorrow the roofing crew will be back on Riverwood, Provided the weather cooperates, and the others back to Blue Lake to start installing the new kitchen cabinets.

Wednesday

We were back out in Spring Lake today installing the tilw for the custom tile shower enclosure. We also got the rest of the trim installed today. The coutertops will be getting installed on Monday and then we can finish this one up. Tomorrow we are going be having two crews going. One will be going to a house on Riverwood Dr. to start a roof. This is a house that we installed new siding on last fall. the rest of us will be in Blue Lake to grout the tile we've been installing there. The painters were in today. We should be able to start installing the new kitchen cabinets on Friday.

Tuesday

We were back out in Blue Lake today installing tile. We've got about 85% of it installed now, some of it has inlayed decorative designs in it. Its looking pretty sharp. By Friday we should be ready to start installing some of the new kitchen cabinets. Tomorrow we will be in Spring Lake installing the tile for the custom shower and putting up the rest of the trim. Almost there on that one!

Monday

We were back out in Blue Lake today. We had couple guys removing some siding and replacing some severely water damaged wood that we discovered while removing and replacing the roof. The drywall for the new kitchen should be sanded out and ready for paint tomorrow. We also got about half of the new tile flooring in place. We are doing some decorative in-layed designes and it turn out real sharp! We'll be back there tomorrow to keep the tile moving along.
The rest of the tlie for the Spring Lake project is supposed to arrive tomorrow. We will be there on Wednesday to install that and the rest of the trim.

Thursday

We finally got thing wrapped up at Northway Bowling Lanes today! They now have a nice covered smoking area outside of the main entrance. From there we headed to Spring Lake to install some more of the trim. We will be back there in the morning to finish the trim, install the bathroom cabinets and tile in the shower floor. We're almost there on this one too.

Wednesday

We were at Northway Lanes today finishing up the outdoor smoking area. We just about got it done but have to go back tomorrow morning to finish up some of the trim work and touch up painting. We should be a couple hours in the morning and then on to Spring Lake to install the trim for the remodel there. The drywall finishers will get going on the Blue Lake kitchen remodel mid morning tomorrow as well.

Tuesday

We got the new kitchen area for the Blue Lake remodel drywalled today! The finishers will be in Thursday to start finishing. From there we can paint and start on installing the new cabinets and flooring. Tomorrow we will finally be wrapping up the smoking room at Northway Lanes. Its been frustrating waiting this long for the parts to come in to finish up! We will also be heading out to Spring Lake to install some trim to try and get that one finishe up as well!

Monday

I went to Spring Lake this morning to install some pocket doors, extention jambs, and trim for the remodel project that we have going on. This one is getting real close to the final stages now! We had other work going on in Blue Lake, while we were doing the roof we found a few areas with some major rot issues that needed to be addressed. The kitchen is ready for drywall in Blue Lake also. We'll be installing that tomorrow.

Thursday

We had the whole crew back out in Blue Lake again today. We just about got the roof portion completed. One more dry day should do it for that. We have been working on getting the new kitchen ready for the new drywall. Lots of new wiring and plumbing needed to be done. We should be able to wrap that up as well with a good day tomorrow.

Wednesday

We were all back out in Blue Lake today. We had a couple guys working on the roof still when it wasn't raining. We should be able to get the roof wrapped up with two more dry days. Sam and myself were working on roughing in for the new kitchen. We had to relocate a window over the kitchen sink and we finished putting in the header in place of a wall to open up the kitchen to the dining room. We also has some of the new plumbing and electrical being roughed in.

Tuesday

We were all out at the Blue Lake project today. We had two guys working on the roof which is nearing the finishing stages. Meanwhile, we finished the demo for the new kitchen. We tore out a wall and replaced it with a beam to open up the kitchen to the dining room. Tomorrow we will be installing the new plumbing and electrical.

Monday

It was definately a Monday today! We had two guys in Blue Lake demoing a kitchen for the big remodel there. We are just about done with the roof there but the wether didn't cooperate for that part of it. I was in Spring Lake for the day installing the rest of the cabinets and most of the trim and finish work. We are nearing the finishing stages of this one. We are also still waiting for the rest of the materials for the smoking area at Northway Lanes. It'll be nice to get some of these completed!

Thursday

Once again, We had the roofing crew in Blue Lake plugging away at the roof there. Me and Sam were back in Spring Lake today. The new tile floor in the mudroom and bathroom is installed and grouted. We also got started installing the new kitchen cabinets. We'll be back tomorrow to hopefully get the rest of the kitchen installed! The roof crew will be back at it trying to beat the rain coming.

Wednesday

We had one crew back out at The Blue Lake roof job installing some more of the roof. It is a pretty big roof so it taking some time to install. It was in major need of repair. We are having to replace some of the roof decking because the existing eaves are completely rotted out. Myself and Sam headed back to Spring Lake to get the tile flooring installed. We'll be back there tomorrow to grout it and start on installing the new kitchen cabinets. Things are really starting to come together on that one! It won't be long for the finished product!

Tuesday

We moved over to Blue Lake Township to start another roof today and made some good process. The weather has been pretty cooperative for roofing! We will have a crew on this one for the rest of the week. Meanwhile, myself and another guy will be heading to Spring Lake to install the tile and cabinets for that project as that one is nearing the end.

Monday

We spent this past weekend roofing! It was time to get a new roof on my own house, overdue actually. The whole crew was over on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and today. Not only did we put a new roof on, we built the whole roof up with 1 1/2" insulation board and extended the eaves to 16". Why they built houses with no eaves in Michigan is beyond me. We'll be finishingup tomorrow morning and then heading back to Spring Lake to finish up the big remodel.

Wednesday

Well, we were supposed to start and roof today in Blue Lake Township but the icing we got last night made it near impossible. Instead we gutted the kitchen at the same house. We are going to be doing a pretty high end and extensive kitchen remodel in this one. It will entail moving a wall and some window and door openings too. The Spring Lake remodel is also coming right along. The second coat of polyurethane is going on the new hardwood floors tonight and the new kitchen cabinets arrived today. We will be installing them as well as the new tile next week.

Tuesday

We finished up some odds and ends at Northway Lanes this morning. Wa have a few more loose ends to tie up on the steel roof but the weather was not very cooperative for such a project. We headed up to North Muskegon in the afternoon to install a garage door opener. We'll have to wait and see what the weather does tomorrow! Hopefully this  freezing rain moves out quickly.

Monday

Worked on the outdoor smoking area at Northway Bowling Lanes today. We got the opening cut in the old block wall for the new door accessing the outdoor area installed. The owners also decided that they wanted to enclose the side a little more so we got that all framed up. Just waiting for the rest of the steel to come in and we can wrap this one up. I was also informed that the new kitchen cabinets for the Spring Lake remodel will be in this week. We will also be starting and large roof and kitchen remodel in Blue Lake township this week.

Thursday

We have been up in Fremont for the past two days while we've been waiting for the the materials to show up to finish up the smoking room at Northway Lanes. In Fremont we tore down and installed new rafters on a 24' x 18' of a house that have some major leaking problems. We were able to tear it off, install the new rafter system and re roof it all in two days. We also installed new vented eaves to try to prevent future problems. If the weather holds out we wiil be installing the steel roofing at Northway Lanes tomorrow.

Tuesday

We were back at the remodel in Spring Lake this morning. We re installed the siding on the back of the house were we moved a window and changed the size of another. We also had to relocate a dryer vent. There is a custome tile showe  being installed in the new bathroom area, so we finished up all of the prep work for that. From there we went back to Northway Bowling Lanes to cut the door opening in the block wall for the new entrance to the smoking area. The door will be installed tomorrow morning.

Monday

The framing is complete for the smoking area at Northway Lanes. We are just waiting for the steel roofing to come in later this week and we can finish that one up. Tomorrow we will cut the hole for the new door to enter the smoking area. We also checked in on the remodel project in Spring Lake. The drywall is all finished and primed. The paint has started going on and the hradwood flooring started going in today as well. We installed a new window for the new kitchen area and removed all of the old flooring. Its starting to look like a house again!

Thursday

We finished up the block half walls today for the smoking area at Northway Lanes today. We also got some prep work done for the roof system. Tomorrow we will be constructing the roof and from there its the steel roofing and its a wrap!

Wednesday

We got rained/snowed out at Northway Lanes today. We headed back up to Twin Lake today to install three new toilets, a faucet, and a utility tub. This was a foreclosure that was a mess and we are getting it back up and running. We will also be building a new deck there. If the weather cooperates, we will be finishing up the block back at the bowling ally tomorrow. The materials for the roof system are also being delivered tomorrow.

Tuesday

We installed about 90% of the block half walls for the outdoor smoking area at Northway Bowling Lanes. We have to finish up the last row and install the wall cap. We should be building the roof system for it on Thursday. From there we will be waiting for the steel roofing to come in and then we can finish up! We will also be back on the Spring Lake remodel by the end of the week to begin preping for the ceramic tile.

Monday

We were back at Northway Bowling Lanes today and we got the footings inspected and approved. We got the concrete pad poured and tomorrow we will be installing the block half wall for the outdoor smoking area. Once that is done then we can build the rood system over it.
The drywall finishers are still making progress on the remodel in Spring Lake. We should be back there next week to start installing some of the new tile.

Friday

We headed up to Twin Lake today to install a new tub and tub surround unit. We also put in a couple new faucets. The weather wasn't to nice out so I was a good day to tackle a smaller project of this nature. We should be pouring the concrete for the outdoor smoking area at Northway Bowling Lanes of Monday if the weather forcast stays the same.

Thursday

We started digging the footings for the outdoor smoking area at Northway Bowling Lanes today. We also got the forms all in and it is ready for concrete. It will be getting inspected on Monday morning and we should be pouring the cement after the inspection if the weather cooperates. The drywall finishers got started today on the Spring Lake remodel project. They should have their part done by mid week next week.

Wednesday

The finishers will be starting to finish the drywall at the Spring Lake remodel tomorrow morning. That should be finished by the end of next week. Meanwhile, this afternoon we started the out door smoking area at Northway Lanes. Tomorrow we will be preparing the footings and getting ready to pour the concrete for the project.

Tuesday

The new drywall is all hung for the Spring Lake remodel. The guys from LM Homeworkings will be there on Thursday to begin finishing it. Its going to have smooth walls and a "crowsfoot" or "stomp" textured ceiling. We also got started on putting together the floor pan for the custom tile shower enclosure. The walls will be going in there tomorrow too. While we are waiting for the drywall to be finished we will be at Northway Bowling Lanes installing a covered smoking area attahed to the building.

Monday

The remodel project in Spring Lake is really starting to take its shape now! The electrical rough in is finally complete and we started hanging drywall today and should have it all hung tomorrow. The finishers will be coming in after that and it should be ready for paint by the end of the week. We will also start to prep for the tile in the mudroom/bathroom area later this week too. We will be starting on an outdoor smoking area at Northway Bowling Lanes while we are waiting for the drywall to get finished.

Thursday

We made some good progress on the electrical at the Spring Lake project. The rough in portion should be finished tomorrow! We also started hanging the drywall for the new ceilings today. Tomorrow we should be able to get the rest of the ceiling done as well as some of the walls.

Wednesday

We grouted the tile in the Norton Shores bathroom, installed the new toilet, vanity and sink top. We also finished up the wiring for the garage in Fruitport. Now that all of these loose ends got tied up, we will be back in full swing on the Spring Lake Remodel. We should be hanging drywall there by mid day!

Tuesday

We're still making progress on the Spring Lake addition. There is a lot of new electrical getting retrofitted so its taking some time. We should be hanging drywall by this weeks end. We also relocated two window openings neccessary for the project. In the meantime, we went to Norton Shores and installed some tile in a bathroom and drywalled a wall. We'll be heading back tomorrow to grout and install the new cabinets and toilet.

Monday

The Spring Lake remodel is staying on track. The HVAC rough in was done today, the plumbing rough in is done, and the electrical rough in should be done tomorrow. From there we have to relocate two windows and then we're ready to hang drywall. Tomorrow we will be heading to Norton Shores to install some tile in a bathroom while we're waiting for the electrical.

Thursday

The Spring Lake remodel project is progressing good! The demo is all done and the new framing is complete. We also had the plumbing and some of the electrical roughed in today. We should be hanging the drywall by the middle of next week. We are heading back to the garage in Fruitport to finish up the steel liner panels and blow in the insulation in the ceiling. The electrical was also started on that one taday too.

Tuesday

We got all of the framing finished up at the big Spring Lake remodeling project. We will be heading back tomorrow to demo the old kitchen and we will also be removing the old exterior wall which separates the old portion of the house and the new addition. We will also be finishing up the the steel in the garage in Fruitport.

Monday

We started the demo and some of the framing for the Spring Lake remodel project. We got a little further  than I originally thought we would, but thats a good thing. We should have the rest of the new framing done tomorrow and the rest of the demo done on Wednesday. From there the Plumber, Electrician, and the HVAC guys will come in on Thursday to rough in their portions.

Friday

We installed the liner steel on the ceiling today in the Fruitport garage. The rest of the steel should be in on Monday to complete the rest. Also on Monday we will be beginning an extensive remodel on a house in Spring Lake! This is some repeat business from a major addition project from last year. It is going to be a nice one.

Thurday

We finished framing the 30'x32'x14' pole barn in Crockery Township today. From there we headed back to the garage in Fruitport to get preped for finishing the interior with liner steel.

Wednesday

The Holton Garage project is a wrap! We have some photos posted here and on Facebook. They should be posted on the website soon as well. From there we stopped in North Muskegon to clear off a roof that we will be replacing in the Spring. Then we headed out to Fruitport and started insulating the interior of a garage. We are installing steel liner panel and running the electrical. We'll be back there tomorrow.

Tuesday

We finally finished the Holton garage project today! We finished medding all the drywall, got the opener installed and got the electrical finished up. Tomorrow we will be heading back for a final cleanup and should have some photos posted. We'll be heading over to Norton Shores to finish the interior of another garage with liner steel and also finishing up the pole barn in Crockery.

Monday

We were back out in Holton today. We installed all of the drywall and got most of the mud up. This one should finally be completed tomorrow! There are just a few more details to address, this one turned out real nice.

Friday

We came close to finishing up the framing for the pole barn in Crockery Township. We just have a little more roof ducking to install and it will be done. Monday we should be finishing up the Hoton garage as well. Next week we will be finishing the interior of another garage in Fruitport and then an extensive remodel in Spring Lake.

Thursday

We finally got the electrical inspected and approved for the garage in Holton. We ran the wire for the garage door opener and installed all of the insulation today. We are ready to hang and finish the drywall on Monday and that should finish this one up! As for tomorrow, we will be heading back to Crockery Township to set the trusses and install the roof sheeting to wrap up the framing for that one.

Tuesday

WE are still waiting for the electrical inspection approval so that we can proceed with the intertior of the Holton garage! Should be done tomorrow, weather pending I'm sure. We headed back over to Crockery Township this morning and got the headers in place for the pole barn project. It's now ready for the trusses and sheeting. Hopefully Thursday we can wrap that one up. We'll see what the big storm brings tonight!

Monday

We are still waiting to get the electrical rough in inspection so that we can finish up the garage in Holton. The inspection should be getting done tomorrow morning. We were out there today to tie up all of the loose ends that we could before we install the drywall. We will be going back to Crockery Township to continue working on framing the 30 x 32 pole barn. We will have it ready for trusses by mid morning. Then back out to Holton to hopefully hang the drywall. We also cleaned up all our equipment that was outside, bracing for the big snowstorm we're supposed to get. I hope they're wrong!

Thursday

We got the electrical permit today and all of the wiring and service roughed in. We can not get the rough in inspection for it until next Monday however. Once we get that approved we can insulate and drywall! We will be heading to Crockery Township tomorrow to set the posts for a 30'x32' pole barn.

Wednesday

We got the stairs built today to the upper level. The rough in inspection was done this evening and approved. Tomorrow we will be installing the electrical and insulation. I expect we will also get a start on hanging some of the drywall. It's almost there!

Tuesday

The exterior of the Holton garage is complete! We finished installing the metal roofing and eave trim today. We also got the garage door installed. Tomorrow we will be building the stairs to the upper level and starting the electrical and insulation and drywall. We should have this one wrapped up by the end of the week.

Monday

Another fridgid day out there today! We made some good progress on the steel roof for the garage. We should be able to get that part wrapped up tomorrow. We also got the concrete cut and the aluminum wrap on all of the exterior trim. The garage door is also going up tomorrow. Then we can start finishing the interior.

Thursday

We got all the siding finished today! The steel roofing was also delivered and we got started installing that too. It is supposed to be brutally cold tomorrow so we'll see how productive we'll be getting the rest of a metal roof on. If not we should be able to get it done on Monday. Once that is done we can run the electrical and insulate and drywall the interior.

Wednesday

We got just a bit more than half of the siding up today as well as three sides of the aluminum eaves installed. Things are coming alond good. We should have the siding wrapped up tomorrow execpt for one section of the eaves which we won't have the materials until Friday. We also got confirmation of the steel roofing delivery for tomorrow morning, so we'll get going on that as well!

Tuesday

We got the framing completed for our garage project today after about an hour of shoveling snow this morning! We also got started on installing some of the aluminum eaves and the trim and accessories for the siding. Tomorrow we should make some good progress on the siding. Its starting to come together.

Monday

We were down a man today but still had a fairly productive day. Things move just a little slower in this weather. The wind chill was bitter cold this morning, but we still kept on pluggin away. The customer decided to add a window at each end of the upper level so we framed that up today as well as finished sheeting the roof. We'll have the rest of the framing detail done tomorrow and we should get started on the siding...if the weather cooperates!

Thurday

Great day today! We installed the two service doors and the three windows. We also got the house wrap/wheather gaurd installed. This afternnoon we had a crane from Andy's Tree Service on site to help us set the trusses. They are a gambrel (barn style) truss with a second story so they are quite heavy. We managed to get them all up and braced! Tomorrow we will be putting up some cross framing for a stairway and installing the roof sheeting.

Wednesday

We got the walls framed and sheeted today for the garage in Holton. The siding is being delivered tomorrow morning and we also have a crane coming around noon to set the roof trusses. By the end of the day tomorrow it should really start to look like a garage!

Tuesday

Today we got the 20' concrete approach and the block foundation for the garage in Holton done! The lumber packaged was delivered this afternoon and tomorrow we will start the build. We should be able to get the walls up by the days end tomorrrow!

Monay

We finally got the footing and the floor poured today for the 24'x 30' garage in Holton! Tomorrow we will be laying the foundation block and pouring the 20' approach. Then we can start the build!

Friday

Once again we were snowed out from pouring the concrete for the Holton garage. We do have it scheduled for Monday morning. Lets keep our fingers crossed the weather forcast is right! We went to a house in Spring Lake that we put an addition on last year and installed three basement hopper windows. We may be heading back to do an extensive remodel to the interior in the near future as well. Have a great weekend!

Thursday

More snow today! We were still not able to get the comcrete pour for the garage floor in Holton! Looks like we'll have to wait until Monday. We headed to Grand Haven and put the finishing touches on a bathroom remodel this morning. In the afternoon we went to Crockery township and layed out a 30' x 32' pole barn that we will be framing in the near future. Tomorrow we will be going to Spring Lake to install some basement windows.

Wednesday

Well we didn't get the concrete poured today for the garage in Holton. The forcast of snow, it was just too much of a risk. Looks like we'll get snowed out tomorrow again so we'll probably install a window in Fruitport and tie up some lose ends on a small bathroom remodel project. Hopefully friday we'll be able to pour.

Tuesday

The footings for our garage project in Holton were inspected and approved this morning! We completed the rest of the prep work for all the concrete but all this snow isn't making things easy. We may possibly pour the footing and the floor tomorrow if it doesnt snow during the day. Hopefully we'll get lucky and we get it done.

Monday

Got a great start today on the next garage in Holton today! The new years thaw really helped out. This one will be a 24' x 30' garage with a gambrel ( barn style ) roof with an upper level for more storage. The interior of the main garage will have electrical service, insulation, and drywall. This one will also have a 20' driveway in front of it. The footings are getting inspected on Tuesday and we should be pouring the footings and the floor on Wednesday!
