Monday May 11th

We hope all of the Mothers had a fantastic Mothers Day yesterday. Despite yet another day of rain we managed to have another relatively productive day. WE were able to tie up some loose ends and just about finish up some interior work that we've been working on at AllSpeed Customs. WE have been renovating a new office are and showroom for them. If you have not been there and are into cars, I recommend that you check this place out! Plus you can see some of our work as well :) The rest of the week looks pretty good weather wise so we should be able to make great headway on our current and upcoming projects. We have several smaller project that we will be doing for Lowe's as well. We install roofing, siding, and Window/doors for them as well as our normal day to day construction.

Wednesday May 6th

Another productive day today! The forecasted rain held off and it turned out to be an absolutely gorgeous day. The guys were saying that they wished they would have worn shorts as the day went on. We finished up the prep work for the exterior concrete at the Norton Shores pole barn and the concrete is scheduled to pour tomorrow morning. Another crew was down town installing a split faced block wall on a commercial building across from the county building. Tomorrow looks like great weather as well.

Rain? No Problem Today!

The rain didn't bother us at all today! In fact we were very productive despite the weather. This past winter we built a 32'x 56' pole barn in Norton Shores. We had to truck in over 300 yards of dirt to make the area buildable so we had to wait until now to make sure everything was thawed out and then we compacted it... A LOT! We poured the interior concrete and finished it today. Thank you to Port City Redi Mix for the prompt service as usual. This one was a little unique though. We sunk 4 golf cups in the floor because there will be a practice putting area and golf simulator in the back of the building. Next we will be getting the outside concrete ready to pour and this one will be a wrap. We had another crew cutting out a window opening in a wall and installing a sliding patio door in its place.

Spring Is Here!

It's been quite some time since we've posted here but we want to get back into the swing of things and keep you informed of what we here at Chandonnet Builders have going on! After a long, and bitter cold winter it's nice to be back in the T-shirts and working outdoors without the Carhart's on. So far in the first quarter this year we have built 6 garages or pole barns and have also completed some smaller renovation projects. We did a complete bathroom remodel with another coming up as well as a large commercial renovation for a custom automotive shop! We built them a new office are and showroom. With the weather continuing to get nicer we have several other upcoming projects on the books. Stay tuned for more updates.
